Kenilworth Revealed was part of a Living History Afternoon in Abbey Fields on Sunday 24 May 2026, giving visitors another chance to experience the town’s medieval history through public activities, talks, and guided tours of the AR experience.

The Kenilworth Town Council event brought families and visitors into Abbey Fields for medieval-themed activities including costume characters, horse and cart rides, quill writing, games, chanting, historical talks, and hands-on demonstrations.

MyJAMS’ work on immersive capture and interactive heritage formed part of the programme through the University of Birmingham talk “Capturing history” at St Nicholas Church. The session connected the public event with the methods behind Kenilworth Revealed: filming real people and local performances so they can become part of an interactive historical experience.

The local press highlighted the event as a new visitor experience linked to Kenilworth Revealed, noting that the app shows how the abbey would have looked 500 years ago.
