MyJAMS has received a £25,000 grant from the CreaTech Frontiers Live & Immersive Innovation Fund to support our research and development work.

Kenilworth Revealed was part of a Living History Afternoon in Abbey Fields on Sunday 24 May 2026, giving visitors another chance to experience the town’s medieval history through public activities, talks, and guided tours of the AR experience.

MyJAMS has received a CreaTech Frontiers award to support the development of our immersive music technology for rehearsal, performance, and public engagement.

MyJAMS contributed to Kenilworth Revealed, an augmented reality project that uncovers the hidden stories of the town. Through interactive technology, visitors can explore history in a new and engaging way.

We have hosted multiple student internships, giving young researchers and developers the opportunity to contribute to our VR/AR projects. Their creativity and hard work have been vital to shaping MyJAMS technology.

Building on ICURe Explore, we entered the Exploit phase. This allowed us to refine our strategy, engage with investors, and move closer to delivering JAMS products to musicians and partners worldwide.

We took part in the ICURe Explore programme, engaging with stakeholders and exploring commercial opportunities for our technology. This was a key step in validating the market potential of JAMS.

We are proud to announce the official founding of MyJAMS Ltd, a spin-out from the University of Birmingham. Our mission is to create cutting-edge technologies for music rehearsal and performance in virtual and augmented reality.

ARME (Augmented Reality Music Ensemble) enables musicians to rehearse together in augmented environments. Initially developed for string quartets, ARME paved the way for the broader JAMS platform and future spin-out activities.
