About MyJAMS

Research translation

MyJAMS Ltd was founded to translate the Augmented Reality Music Ensemble research programme into practical rehearsal, training, and immersive performance technologies.

Practice music together

Our systems let performers rehearse with virtual musicians that adapt to timing, interpretation, and musical context, supporting solo practice, ensemble preparation, teaching, and creative production.

Human-AI collaboration

We build AI collaborators for creative rehearsal and performance, combining immersive media, avatar animation, sound generation, and real-time interaction.

Core Technology

Adaptive Virtual Musicians

Responsive performers that adjust timing and coordination to the person playing, rather than simply replaying fixed tracks.

Timing Realism

Interaction models grounded in research on synchronisation, temporal adaptation, and ensemble coordination.

Immersive Rehearsal

XR rehearsal environments for iPad, VR, AR, Apple Vision Pro, and multi-user audiovisual spaces.

AI Performance Systems

AI-assisted avatar animation, sound generation, synchronisation, and interactive performance pipelines.

Cross-Platform Ecosystem

Tools that connect mobile rehearsal, XR prototypes, DAW workflows, and physical installations.

Ecological Validity

Virtual rehearsal systems designed around realistic musical behaviour, social presence, and ensemble practice needs.
